On my desk, in my mind

Dear Reader,

Books and magazines, magazines and books! This is what is on my physical desk right now... and the next issue of UPPERCASE magazine (#68) is on my desktop computer.

The next issue is in the very early stages of design, where the content I have commissioned and gathered is splattered on its designated pages. Nothing seems to make sense yet! Do I have enough content? Too much? Is the theme coming through? What's missing?

This is a very necessary stage: doubt, worry, rethinking, rearranging—it's the invisible part of the design and editorial process.

By the time you get a designed magazine in hand, it will feel cohesive and confident.

But first, I have to find my way through.

The discount 'keepgoing' gives CA$10 off a print subscription/renewal.

Thank you for sharing pictures and stories about my magazines and books. I appreciate it so much!

The Glue book is being very well received by happy readers!
Here are a few of the lovely comments:

"An artistic symphony of eye candy!"

"Thank you for your work, effort, and attention to detail. You can tell your passion concerning these books. Great positive information is going out in the world because of these books. I am thrilled to have mine!"

"I just received my copy of Glue, and I’m beyond excited to quietly savour each and every page!"

"Thanks so much for a wonderful book, there will be many relaxing hours spent poring over the contents."

You can still join Making Zen!

I've been enjoying the fall edition of Making Zen while I work on the next issue. Making Zen features 30 expert artists sharing their techniques and mindful stitching ideas. It's free to sign up—you have access to each day's sessions of videos for 24 hours, or you can invest in a VIP ticket to retain access to the recordings to watch at your leisure (plus other bonuses).

UPPERCASE is a promotional partner for Making Zen and earns a commission on sales resulting from these links. Thank you.

Do you love UPPERCASE magazine but have only heard about it more recently? Did you know that the magazine has been around for 16 years? There's a wealth of back issues to discover—most of which are long out of print—that are now available digitally.

Try the UPPERCASE Archive! Sign up for a month to give it a try—or go all-in for a full year.

The first fifty issues of the magazine are waiting for you.

Let humanitarian aid into Gaza fully and peacefully

100% of Little U sales are donated to UNICEF for humanitarian efforts in Palestine. Since late July, we have raised another $1,400. Let's see if we can get that to $2,000 by the end of the month.

To date, together we have raised $28,820 for UNICEF's efforts in Gaza.
Thank you for your generosity and compassion.

Purchase Little U here.
