Where emotions meet illustration
by Edie Labbe

Hi, I’m Edie — a graphic designer with a soft spot for nature, a fascination with the human mind, and a deep love for all things self-care. When I’m not sketching mindful illustrations or designing patterns inspired by wildflowers and Brighton’s waves, you’ll find me studying psychotherapy and exploring what it truly means to connect with others and ourselves. For me, mental wellness isn’t some lofty ideal; it’s woven into the everyday moments of life—like sharing a heartfelt conversation, journaling through hard times, or taking a quiet walk in the woods. My work celebrates these moments, crafted to spark meaningful (and sometimes difficult) conversations, encourage self-expression, and gently remind us all to slow down and care for ourselves. Whether it’s a whimsical pattern or a bold illustration, every design I create is rooted in the belief that self-care and creativity go hand in hand. I hope my work makes people feel seen, heard, and maybe even a little inspired to open up about their feelings. After all, isn’t that what it’s all about? Instagram / Website

My Design on the Runway!
by Ariadne Kritonos

I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be taking part in this year’s Blue Wrap Project Runway—a unique fundraising fashion show where all designs are made from Blue Wrap, a hospital material that would otherwise go to waste. When Partners for World Health (PWH) invited me to create a garment representing Greece, I wanted to highlight something meaningful. PWH provided medical aid to Lesvos back in 2016, a year when the island was at the heart of Europe’s refugee crisis. The people of Lesvos showed incredible resilience and generosity and I wanted to honour their efforts through my design. So I will be presenting a modern interpretation of the traditional garment from Lesvos. The show will be taking place on May 16 in Portland, ME. If you are able to, please consider supporting this amazing cause by attending the fashion show. Learn more here. Hope to see you there! Instagram / Website
