A peek inside the upcoming issue...

Dear Reader,

It's March! And, it's that time again when I'm getting ready to compile the mailing data for the next issue of UPPERCASE magazine. Issue #69, April-May-June 2026, will be ready to pop in the mail very soon, to arrive sometime in April for subscribers.

If you've been thinking about subscribing, now is the best time! And, you can use the coupon code keepgoing for CAN$10 off.

(This message has been sent to everyone who received my newsletter and has not segmented by past purchases. If you're already a subscriber, thank you! Please share this message and discount code with a friend. Have a subscriber question? Email shop@uppercasemagazine.com.)

RENEwALS

Over the past few days, I've sent renewal notices to everyone with a subscription up for renewal, so if that's you, check your inbox for a message from shop@uppercaesmagazine.com.

ADDRESS CHANGES

If you're an UPPERCASE subscriber who has recently moved and not informed me yet, now's the time to update your address via this form. (Please only fill in the form if you haven't already!!! You can see correspondence confirming address changes from shop@uppercasemagazine.com.)

Okay, with the logistics out of the way, let me show you WHY you'll want to subscribe! Here's a sampling of spreads from the next issue. The two main themes are "the creative self" and how we nurture our creativity, and "texture" created, found and metaphorical. I'm really pleased with how this issue has come together; I think you will find it inspiring and uplifting.

The abecedary by Lydie Raschka is about artistic textures; made, found, rediscovered:

Tamisha Anthony has outdone herself with her article about Black hair and how various styles represent aspects of the self:

Reader submissions for the Texture open call:

Lilla Rogers explores embroidering her illustrations:

Véronique Francoeur's sketchbook:

Claire Dibble visits Haida Gwaii hat weaver Marlene Liddle:

We take a trip to France to make some paper:

Deanne Fitzpatrick muses about the texture of life and art:

That's just a short sampling of the 132 pages!

Please support UPPERCASE magazine by subscribing and telling your friends about it.

Subscribe, renew or purchase a gift subscription today with the code keepgoing for a discount at checkout. (Subscriber address changes here, please.)

Thank you!

quilted reprint

The Quilted reprint will be mailed in a few weeks. Preorders outside of North America are not available at this time, so if you're outside of the shipping zone, you won't see the book listed on my website yet. Once the reprint is ready, overseas customers will be able to purchase Quilted directly from UPPERCASE, and later from our UK distributor and stockists.
