Making lists ✍🏼

Dear Reader,

Do you make lists? I have many! Mental lists, to-do lists, lists of data... like the subscriber mailing list I'm finalizing for first thing tomorrow morning! (Get on that list TODAY by subscribing or renewing your UPPERCASE subscription.*)

I keep lists in my notebook. Above, you'll see my list of ideas for the next Encyclopedia of Inspiration that I'm starting to work on. (More details, soon! After I sort my list of ideas.)

Finley and I started a list about our corgi, Rupert. The little fella is often afraid of things. Like wearing a scarf for the first time:

Our list is entitled, "Rupert of the many worries."

Notable causes for concern are walking in a westerly direction, brooms (and vacuum cleaners) and anything that can unexpectedly slide down or fall over... like a backpack propped against a chair or a quilt draped on the couch. Beware! It might slide or move ever so slightly...

Strangely, he is afraid of empty cereal bowls (but they are oh so interesting when filled with our breakfast cereal!)

Thunder and fireworks are probably on most dogs' worry lists. But being afraid of my flute case is a unique trait (or perhaps it's his way of expressing an opinion about the quality of my playing!)

Alas, the list of worries for us humans keeps growing.

Maybe we can take some of our small, personally idiosyncratic and inconsequential worries off our lists.

Like Rupert, we can get over some of the small stuff.

Let's collectively focus on the big worries and do something about them.

No bombs. No wars. No genocide. Please.

quilted reprint

The Quilted reprint will be mailed in a few weeks. Preorders outside of North America are not available at this time, so if you're outside of the shipping zone, you won't see the book listed on my website yet. Once the reprint is ready, overseas customers will be able to purchase Quilted directly from UPPERCASE, and later from our UK distributor and stockists.
