All About YOU

Hello Reader,

I hope you have a relaxing and creative weekend.

If you're looking for something to do, Sketchbook Revival started today!

In my 45-minute session, I play with the following methods for creating a "text" book—a sketchbook inspired by words and letters.

Here's more about my session. My session airs on April 15 and will only be available through the Sketchbook Revival hub.

And here's the link to sign up to view all sessions from 30+ artists. (It's free to sign up and watch. If you want longer access to the videos, there's a paid upgrade option.)

Thank you!!!

Tilden Magazine
by Edward Johnson
cover by Eugenia Yoh

Tilden is a fortnightly literary magazine for long-form serialized fiction. Following in the footsteps of classic magazines such as The Strand, The Smart Set, and The Black Mask, it provides a platform for both emerging and established writers to create and experiment with works that unfold across multiple installments.

For our first issue, coming this May, I'm thrilled to feature writers including Laird Hunt (National Book Award finalist), Sophie Mackintosh (Betty Trask Award winner, Booker Prize longlist), Briana Loewinsohn (2025 Harvey Award winner), Thien Pham (Eisner Award winner), and Matt Thorne (Booker Prize longlist). I enjoy working with bright colours and creating fun characters. I often get inspired by the mixture of small daily things by adding an odd twist to them. Instagram / Website

Robos
by Robin Beausejour

I am a chef and have always hated waste, I shop thrift stores and was recycling long before it was a thing, I have always been able to see patterns in things, so one day I was looking at some stuff I no longer needed, spoons, bottles, screws ect. and started to see figures, I called them Robo's all done with materials that would have went to a landfill, I have no idea how I do this,I look at a pile of junk and start to see things form and sometimes it surprises me what I have made. These are my smaller Robos. I also do large things, which I place on my front lawn, and am surprised by how much my neighbours love them. Kids really like them, like a dragon from an old lawnmower and a horse from old bike parts.

Quilt block seat covers
by Nancy Feldman

I needed to recover dining room chairs. Instead of buying yards of upholstery fabric that is very expensive, I made my own fabric using pieces of wool and tweed. Each seat cover is a different quilt block. Instagram
