"Where do you find your inspiration?"
Or this one:
"How do you find inspiration?"
Throughout my creative career, these have been the most common questions I get asked!
I always find these questions sort of funny... It's like you already had inspiration and simply misplaced it, and you're searching for it like lost keys.
Or it's a destination somewhere, but we don't know how to get there.
Thinking about this concept of inspiration being a place to be discovered inspired me to create a new open call for UPPERCASE issue #71:
Where and how do you find inspiration?
If Inspiration were a place, draw a map or create a diagram about how to find it.

This open call has specific requirements for the dimensions of the submitted work:
* MAKE YOUR WORK IN ONE OF THESE REQUIRED PROPORTIONS *
vertical: 7.125" wide by 9.625"
narrow vertical: 3.4625” by 9.625”
horizontal: 7.125” wide by 4.7125”
Deadline: July 7 at 11:59pm MDT

ISSUE 70 UPDATE
