I am a published illustrator from Hyderabad, Telangana, India. In publishing, I have mostly illustrated for children's books; I have a brief experience in editorial illustration. As an illustrator, nature is one of the subjects I like to capture along with people and food. My portfolio includes botanical illustrations made in my personal style. Only 20 copies of the July-Aug-Sept issue from 4 years ago remain in my shop. Issue 54 explores abstract thinking and abstract art! Through painting, drawing, stitching, sculpting and crafting, we make ideas real. And though sometimes those ideas can be concrete and representational, we can also express the more nebulous notions. We can break free from traditional constructs and explore colour, form, mood, memory and more.
